Since she was young, Amy always knew that she would choose a career helping animals. After high school, she decided to attend schooling for dental assisting, and although she excelled, Amy knew it wasn't what she wanted for her future. Then she says that life happened and she got married to her wonderful husband, Jason. He joined the military a month after they were married and after spending a year in Korea, they were stationed in Fort Campbell, KY. While there, Amy attended school for veterinary assisting, which led her to Elk Creek Animal Hospital for an internship that Amy absolutely loved. When they moved back to the Louisville area she was offered a position.
